Kashur' Zaika: The taste of Kashmiri food

 
Moong Vadi
 

Ingredients 

  1. 2 and Half Cups Moong daal
  2. 1/2 tsp  Afoetida
  3. Salt  to taste
  4. 1tsp Turmeric powder


Method: 

  1. Soak the moong dal for 2 hours.
  2. Grind it to a fine thick paste.
  3. Mix all the ingredients.
  4. On a plate apply a little oil.
  5. Take some mixture in your four fingers. Now try to drop very small quantity on the plate by pushing the mixture with your thumb over the four fingers.
  6. These can be spread on sheets of plastic.
  7. Dry the vadi in the sun.
