  Chakli

Ingredients 

  1. Rice 250 Grams
  2. Split Bengal gram 150 Grams
  3. Split black gram 50 Grams
  4. Split green gram 25 Grams
  5. Coriander 1 Tblspn
  6. Oil  2 Tblspn + Oil to Fry
  7. Gingelly seeds 1 Tblspn
  8. Turmeric powder 1/2 Teaspn
  9. Chilli powder 2 Teaspn
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Asafoetida 1/2 Teaspn
  12. Water as required
     

Method: 

  1. Roast rice, grams, coriander seeds, cumin seeds and grind to a powder.

  2. Add gingelly seeds, asafoetida, chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt.

  3. Heat oil and add to the mixture.

  4. Make a dough by using water. Keep covered with a wet cloth.

  5. With the help of chakli mould make chaklis and deep fry till golden and crisp.
